WaveMaker Seeds

·

This is the work-in-progress panel design for my first ever Eurorack module I’m currently calling “Seeds”. Seeds will feel familiar in the sense that at it’s heart, it is an algorithmic pattern generator. It will produce euclydian, bitshifting, and arpeggiated patterns easily- sending the CVs out one of eight channels- with just a few knob turns. However, my twist will mainly focus on live “playability”. What I hope to be the real joy in Seeds is the ability to save and recall projects and “scenes” on the fly. Think like Ableton Live, but for Eurorack. My goal is to be able build a composition of live-generated tracks, save the current 8 channel rhythmic idea to a “scene” slot, change some parameters, rhythms, etc, save to another scene, and then be able to recall any previously saved scene. This will allow the user to build up more of a “song” structure.
